DEATH REPORTED IN WHITESBORO FIRE

Two separate fires claimed two lives on Tuesday evening. The second fire took place in Whitesboro at the intersection of Lena Street and Route 9 and broke out around 10 p.m. The victim was brought to an area hospital but was pronounced dead a short time later. The Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office is expected to release additional information on the incident. This took place on the same evening a victim was killed in a North Wildwood fire at 17th and New York aves.
