A proposal to reform health benefits and pension could be close to an agreement. Democratic leaders met with Gov. Chris Christie and according to the AP, Assembly Speaker Shelia Oliver said if Christie budges a little more than she may be ready to finalize a deal. The report states that Christie has backed off his idea to make every employee pay 30 percent of their health care premiums and there could be room to bargain.
