DEAD BODY FOUND ON AVALON BEACH

Avalon officials say a 26-year-old body was found on the beach on New Year’s Day. A couple was walking the beach around 22nd St. when they found the body and called police. Police have not released the name of the deceased, pending notification of next of kin. An investigation is on-going into the death.
