Members of the Manahawkin Baptist Church in Stafford Township have been forced out of their sanctuary and have been holding Sunday services under a tent. Last Tuesday an EF-O tornado caused $250,000 in damages to the church, from shattered windows and toppled trees. The congregation plans to hold one more outdoor service before they can return to the building after repairs are made.
