A prominent Vineland businessman will now have his name attached to a Cumberland County high school. the new Cumberland County Technical Education Center will now be named after John F. Scarpa, who donated one million dollars to the 200,000 square-foot school, that just opened in September next to Cumberland County College. Scarpa, who made his fortune in telecommunications, told the Press of Atlantic City that he was “taken by the size and curriculum being offered” at the new school.
