CREWS CONTINUE TO WORK ON AMTRAK TRAIN DERAILMENT

Efforts are on-going to find victims from the Amtrak train derailment that killed 7 people and injured hundreds. Amtrak train #188 was on its way to New York City from Washington when it derailed near Frankford Ave in Philadelphia. Mayor Michael Nutter said the search was “very, very active” and they hoped to find more. It is unclear the exact cause of the crash, but reports are that the train was traveling over 100 mph, which is more than double the allotted speed in that area.
