A major reconstruction project involving a portion of Pacific Avenue from Rambler Road to Cresse Avenue in Wildwood Crest begins on Friday. Crest officials expect the work to be completed by Memorial Day weekend. Southbound traffic along Pacific Avenue in the work zone will be prohibited from Monday mornings through Friday afternoons during this construction.
