It should be an good economic outlook in the Wildwoods for 2017. The Greater Wildwoods Chamber of Commerce hosted its yearly luncheon where Crest Savings Bank CEO Jay Ford recaps 2016 and looks ahead to this year. Ford told the crowd that last year saw an increase in home sales in the Wildwoods and another strong year for tourism. Ford believes that economic growth should continue this year on the island. The lunch is hosted at the Wildwoods Convention Center, which reported to be up to nine events in the first quarter, which many have said has helped grow the economy in the early part of the year.
