Wildwood Crest Police have issued an advisory on social media regarding a scam that may target local motels. Police say that some scammers are asking for credit card refunds for motel rooms that were booked with stolen credit cards; they would like the repayment made to a credit card that they may legitimately own. The issue will be discussed during a crime prevention meeting held Tuesday night.
