Funding from the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority was granted to two upcoming projects in Atlantic City on Tuesday. A marketing firm from Portland Maine was given nearly $100,000 to find the best location for an enclosed marketplace and recommend an operating model. Early favorite locations are the Downtown and Ducktown sections of the city. The CRDA also committed $8.6 million to a redevelopment project in the South Inlet section of the city. The plan calls for relocation of more than 62 housing units and a collection of boutiques and restaurants.
