"COVER YOUR SKIN" CAMPAIGN TO TAKE PLACE THIS SATURDAY

Hundreds of Cape May County beachgoers and lifeguards will be glad that they headed for the beach on July 17^th. The Cape May County Department of Health is participating in the statewide “Choose Your Cover” initiative to provide beachgoers with information on how to have fun outdoors while protecting their skin and provide free skin cancer screenings. The screenings will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Lifeguard Headquarters – Beach Drive and Grant Street in the City of Cape May.  The Rain date for the event is Sunday, July 18^th.  In addition to skin cancer screenings, participants may receive free sunscreen and a wealth of vital information about sun smart precautions to protect their skin.
