COUPLE OF EVENTS MOVED DUE TO IMPENDING HURRICANE

With the potential of a hurricane making landfall this weekend, a couple of local events are not taking place when they were scheduled. The Race of the Gentleman in Wildwood that was originally scheduled for this weekend will instead take place Sat. Oct. 10 and Sun. Oct. 11. This year’s Mid-Atlantic Police and Fire Survivors’ Weekend, scheduled from October 2-4, 2015 in North Wildwood, has been cancelled due to forecasted weather conditions. Preliminary plans are to pay tribute to the 2015 honorees during next year’s Survivors’ Weekend scheduled for September 30-October 2, 2016.
