COUPLE CHARGED WITH HEROIN POSSESSION, STOLEN IPAD

They allegedly stole an IPad, but the potential punishment just got a lot worse. Gabriel Pagan-Valentin, 28, of Wildwood, and Karla Almonte-Santiago, 19, of Wildwood Crest were charged after being found in possession of 271 bags of heroin. Police were looking for the suspects after a surveillance camera caught two people leaving with an IPad from the Walmart in Rio Grande. Karla Almonte-Santiago was held on $15,000 bail, Gabriel Pagan-Valentin was held on $35,000 bail, both were committed to the Cape May County Correctional Center.
