COUNTY SEATS POSE EASY RACE FOR GOP

Three countywide elections are being held on Tuesday but they will be over before they even get started.  Republicans are expected to win the two freeholder seats up for grabs, along with the county sheriff’s position.  Sheriff Gary Schaffer is running unopposed in the election on Tuesday.  Freeholder candidates Will Morey and Christine Gabor are facing no formal challenge from democratic opponents which will keep the republican party in a 5-0 majority on the freeholder board.  Freeholders Ralph Sheets and Dan Beyel did not seek re-election.
