Two counties in the state, including Cumberland County, may consider selling off their county-run nursing homes. The Associated Press reports that the New Jersey Association of Counties believes at least two counties may be selling off their nursing homes because they lose money by running them. A half dozen New Jersey counties, including Cape May County, have their own county-operated nursing facilities.
