COUNTY ROAD WORK TO LANDIS AVE. COULD BE DONE IN ABOUT A MONTH

Roadwork to Landis Ave. could be complete by early Jan. For the road reconstruction of 63rd to 69th Street, Cape May County recently awarded the project to Landberg Construction, LLC, of Mays Landing. If weather permits, the work can keep to that schedule. The work involves upgrading the storm sewer pipes from 66th Street to 69th Street, the installation of ADA compliant handicap curb depressions at the corners of each intersection, removing any buried railroad ties in the northbound lane, and removing the existing pavement to a 5″ depth and replacing with hot mix asphalt.
