COUNTY PUTS OUT HARSH WARNING ABOUT HEROIN — USE

Local authorities are putting out a serious warning about heroin use in Cape May County. County Prosecutor Robert Taylor and Lower Township Police Chief William Mastriana issued a statement saying there were several drug related overdoses in our region over the Memorial Day holiday weekend, and one of them was fatal. Since the beginning of this year, there have been 40 overdoses involving heroin in our county, five of them being fatal.
