COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOLS TO CLOSE BETWEEN MARCH 17-30TH

Public schools in Cape May County are all closed from Tuesday, March 17th through March 30th.  Local school districts are starting to issue this news on their websites and social media pages, including Middle Township, which states that essential personnel will be working in the schools through the closing.  Lower Cape May Regional posted that message on its social media page Sunday afternoon; Wildwood make the closing announcement on its website.  Governor Phil Murphy is expected to call for the closure of all public schools in the state during a press conference Monday. The directive to close all schools between these dates was made by the County Department of Health and approved by Cape May County Freeholders.
