Cape May County Fare Free Transportation is providing the transportation to either the Wilmington V. A. Hospital or the New Jersey Veterans’ Memorial Home located in Vineland. Buses will depart from the Social Services Building, 4005 Route 9 South in Rio Grande at approximately 8:30 a.m. Refreshments will be available before departure in the Social Services Building.
Freeholder Thornton said, “I am so proud of this annual event and the participation we receive from our businesses, school children and veterans’ organizations in the County. It is extremely important that we continue to honor our veterans and especially take time to visit our hospitalized veterans, who have given so much to preserve our freedom.”
