Cape May County Freeholder Director Gerald Thornton has issued a statement regarding this week’s largely peaceful protests in Cape May County over the death of George Floyd. Thornton says the County has seen many people act in responsible protests, and he too is outraged by Floyd’s death at the hands of law enforcement. He applauds local protesters working with law enforcement on peaceful activities.
