The Cape May County Office of Emergency Management has issued a Code Blue Alert for the county. The alert is in effect through Friday at 6:00pm. Temperatures will not hit 30 degrees on Thursday and Friday, and strong winds will make it feel much colder. The advisory alerts communities that there may be people who need temporary shelter to escape the cold temperatures.
