COUNTY HOLDS EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE

Cape May County held its annual emergency preparedness conference Tuesday morning at Crest Haven.  Six guest speakers joined new county Emergency Management Coordinator Marty Pagliughi in talking about new initiatives regarding emergency management procedures.  Pagliughi announced that the county will soon develop a new emergency website that will provide up to the minute news during storms and other emergency events.  There was plenty of discussion regarding sheltering and evacuating the elderly and disabled during the conference.
