COUNTY CHAMBER TO HOLD PRESS CONFERENCE IN AVALON

The Cape May County Chamber of Commerce is holding a press conference in Avalon on Tuesday morning.  The Chamber is holding the event to show its support of pending legislation in Trenton that would double the amount of money dedicated each year by the State to the Shore Protection Fund, which finances beach projects.  Avalon is undergoing a $6 million beach fill project in its north end and is paying for the beach replenishment project with local dollars.
