COST RISES TO $800,000 TO FIGHT PAYMENT FOR ARC TUNNEL PROJECT

It costs a lot to not pay for the ARC Tunnel project. The Record newspaper says the state has paid $800,000 in legal fees to fight the federal government over payment. The state scrapped the project and the federal government wants the state to repay $271 million that was given to them for funding for ARC. Gov. Chris Christie ended the project saying it would cost the state too much money in potential overrun costs.
