New Jersey was represented in the first day of the Democratic National Convention. U.S. Senator Cory Booker, who was reportedly on the shortlist to be a vice-presidential nominee for Hillary Clinton, spoke at the convention. Booker spoke about economic inequality among other topics. Booker also turned his attentions to Donald Trump, saying Clinton knows we are all in it together, where Trump is trying to divide people.
