A local bridge that was the scene of a terrifying accident earlier this month is slated to reopen on Monday. County officials say the Corson’s Inlet Bridge will reopen to traffic on Monday after some emergency guard rail work is finished. Back on February 1st, an SUV drove off the bridge, crashed through the guard rail, and landed in the water below. Both occupants of the vehicle escaped with only minor injuries. Repairs on the bridge have taken longer than expected, so now the bridge will reopen on Monday.
