An official misconduct conviction came down on Tuesday. Akbar Malik Salaam, of Egg Harbor Township, was found guilty distributing herion at the All Wars Memorial Building, in Atlantic City, at which he was employed as the Building Manager with the Department of Public Works.
A jury convicted Salaam of all 30 counts (six counts for each sale) including; official misconduct, possession of heroin, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, distribution of heroin, distribution within 500-feet of a publicm zone and distribution within 1000-feet of a school zone.
