CONVICTION HANDED DOWN IN 2011 DEATH

A fatal stabbing suspect has been found guilty. The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office says that Manuel E. Concepcion Jr., 34, was convicted of aggravated manslaughter and weapons offenses in the death of Ignacio Castro. The incident took place in July 2011. Aggravated manslaughter, a crime of the first-degree, carries a state prison sentence between 10-30 years and up to $200,000 in fines. Sentencing will take place for the Atlantic City native on Nov. 21.
