CONTRACTOR COMPLETES BIKE PATH EXTENSION

Construction has been completed on the bike path connector between the southern end of the Wildwood Boardwalk and the Wildwood Crest bike path. Wildwood Crest Borough Clerk Kevin Yecco told Coastal Broadcasting that the contractor will turn over the bike connector to the two municipalities for use at the end of business on Wednesday. Yecco says details still need to be worked out on the regulation of beach access traffic as it intersects with the bike path. The borough is in discussion with Wildwood officials on the issue.
