CONSTRUCTION WILL SHUT DOWN TOWNSEND’S INLET BRIDGE FOR TWO MONTHS THIS WINTER

For two months this winter the Townsend’s Inlet Bridge will be shut down again. Cape May County is working on a plan to fix the moveable span, allowing the weight limit on the bridge to increase. Cape May County Engineer Dale Foster tells 987 The Coast that the work would allow up toe 15 tons on the bridge, instead of the three tons currently.
