The city of Wildwood plans on putting beach cabanas and storage boxes on its beachfront this summer. The Wildwood Leader reports that the city commission voted in favor of allowing these two new uses for the Wildwood beachfront this summer. Commissioner Pete Byron says general use permits need to come from the state for these new beach amenities and he expects that to be no problem. Byron says that beach bars will not come to the Wildwood beaches this year because of a longer permitting process.
