The local Comcast office in Ocean City will remain open past May 28th, the previously announced closing date. The Press of Atlantic City reports that Comcast has decided to keep their local customer service trailer open throughout the summer season, closing it down at the end of August. The previous plan was to shift customers to the new Xfinity store opening in May in Mays Landing. A Comcast spokesperson said that Comcast delayed the closing date due to customer complaints. The report says that the BPU requires Comcast to keep a local office open in Ocean City during the summer.
