COASTAL FLOOD WARNING POSTED FOR CAPE MAY COUNTY

Cape May County is under a Coastal Flood Warning for tonight’s high tide.  The National Weather Service predicts moderate coastal flooding at time of high tide this evening, which occurs around 8:30pm on the back bays.  Some flood prone streets along barrier islands saw a few pockets of water during this morning’s high tide; the next tide will produce another half foot to foot of additional flooding due to water being trapped in the back bays by northeasterly winds.
