The National Weather Service has posted a Coastal Flood Advisory for Cape May County due to a rainstorm that is headed our way Tuesday evening. The advisory is in effect from Tuesday at 7pm until Wednesday at 3am. There is the potential for minor coastal flooding in flood prone areas along the shore. A storm will bring plenty of rain and wind to the county on Tuesday night into Wednesday morning; the same system resulted in deadly tornados in the midwest. High tide occurs at the Townsend’s Inlet Bridge between Avalon and Sea Isle City shortly after 9pm on Tuesday.
