COAST GUARD TO TRAIN NEAR AVALON, STONE HARBOR

The United States Coast Guard plans some training operations along the Jersey Shore and some of it will be near Avalon and Stone Harbor.  The Coast Guard says crews will fly from the Air Station Atlantic City and will travel along inland waterways from Barnegat to Stone Harbor.  The exercise is known as “Rotary Air Wing Intercept” pilot training.  It is expected to last about six weeks.
