COAST GUARD SEARCHES FOR MAN OFF AVALON

The search is underway late Friday off the coast of Avalon for a missing boater.  The United States Coast Guard confirms that they are looking for 56 year old Vincent Tangorra of Bethpage, New York who’s boat was found about nine miles off the coast of Avalon with no one on board.  He was allegedly sailing from New York to North Carolina when he went missing.  The search is being conducted via boat and helicopter.
