A Coast Guard Air Station Atlantic City aircrew reunited with Damian Sexton and his family at Coast Guard Station Atlantic City on Wednesday. Sexton was medevaced by the aircrew Sunday from the 39-foot recreational vessel, the Sea Robin, approximately 44 miles east of Cape May. After being thrown from his boat in rough seas, Sexton was able to tread water for four hours before being rescued by the Coast Guard. During the reunion, Sexton and his family took a boat ride on a 47′ Motor Lifeboat from Coast Guard Station Atlantic City.
