The Coast Guard rescued two boaters Monday from a disabled 19-foot boat in Absecon Inlet. Watchstanders at Coast Guard Station Atlantic City received a call at 3:40 p.m. from a good Samaritan on Brigantine Beach who reported a boat in the mouth of Absecon Inlet was towing a sailboat and appeared to be having difficulties. A 25-foot Response Boat-Small crew from Station Atlantic City responded to the distress. The two people were taken to the Coast Guard station with no reported injuries.
