COAST GUARD RESCUES STRANDED JET SKIERS IN AVALON

The U.S. Coast Guard rescued two jet skiers from the marshes of Avalon on Sunday. Coast Guard rescue swimmer Chris Conway was lowered by helicopter into waist deep mud to assist the two stranded men. Conway carried one of the men a quarter mile to an Avalon Fire Department boat. The jet skiers were then transported to the Avalon Yacht Club.
