The Coast Guard medevaced a 33-year-old man from a boat in Patcong Creek, in Great Egg Harbor Bay, Monday. The man’s wife called watchstanders at Coast Guard Station Atlantic City at about 11:50 a.m. and reported her husband was experiencing back pain and unable to operate their 32-foot boat, and she did not know how to drive it. A 25-foot Response Boat – Small crew from Coast Guard Station — Small Great Egg, a seasonal detachment of the station in Atlantic City, medevaced the man and transported him to shore where his care was transferred to awaiting emergency medical personnel.
