COAST GUARD RESCUES FISHERMAN IN ATLANTIC OCEAN

The United States Coast Guard battled rough seas to save a fisherman who became ill on his boat Wednesday afternoon.  The Coast Guard sent a helicopter to airlift the 57 year old man who suffered severe abdominal pains on board the “Jeffrey Scott” Wednesday around 5:20pm.  The man was taken to shore and transported immediately to the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center.
