COAST GUARD CONTINUES TO SEARCH FOR HOAXSTER

The hunt for the man who placed a hoax call to the Coast Guard continues. Authorities have offered a $3,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction. The call claimed over 20 people were out at sea after their boat was taking on water. A rescue mission went immediately into effect off of the coast of Sandy Hook, but there was no sign of anyone.
