CMC FIREFIGHTERS ASSISTED IN BOARDWALK FIRE

The Wildwood Leader reports that eight fire companies from Cape May County were dispatched to help fight the 10-alarm boardwalk blaze in Seaside Park last Thursday. Companies in Seaville, Marmora, Avalon, Stone Harbor, Cape May Court House, Rio Grande, Town Bank, and West Cape May were all called in to help. Not all departments actually went to the fire, but were asked to provide mutual aid at nearby stations in Seaside that were un-staffed during the fire.
