CMC 4-H MEMBER SELECTED TO ATTEND NATIONAL CONFERENCE

Cape May County 4-H member Samantha Downes has been selected to represent New Jersey at the 3rd annual 4-H Leadership Washington Focus (LWF) Conference. The Cape May Gazette reports that Downes will attend the leadership July 18-22 at the National 4-H Youth Conference Center in Chevy Chase, Md. Youth from all over the country will attend the program for 4-H members entering grades 7-9, where they will listen to motivational speakers and participate in workshops to improve life skills. Downes is an 8th grade student who lives in North Cape May.
