You won’t be able to get from Avalon to Sea Isle City, or vise versa, via the Townsend’s Inlet Bridge starting in February. The bridge is expected to close in early February to traffic and remain closed possibly through the end of April for much needed repairs. A $4.4 million project will repair the bridge and allow larger vehicles like busses to once again drive between both towns.
