The cleanup and repairs continue in Ocean City following a vicious thunderstorm on Sunday that destroyed some public and private property. More than a dozen lifeguard stands were ripped up from the storm on Sunday as a “microburst” storm developed over the city bringing high winds, plenty of lightning, and torrential rain. Six boats belonging to the Ocean City Beach Patrol were ruined during the storm. Lifeguards are building some new beach patrol stands during their free time this week.
