The First Legislative District has been flipped. Republicans captured all three legislative races over incumbent democrats in Tuesday night’s election, the first where current Congressman Jeff Van Drew wasn’t running with the democratic candidates. Erik Simonsen and Antwan McClellan defeated incumbents Bruce Land and Matt Milam by over 2,000 votes. Republican Mike Testa will be your new State Senator as he scored 53 percent of the vote last night.
