A new report suggests that Gov. Chris Christie overspent on travels while acting at the U.S. Attorney. The Inspector General report says that Christie abused taxpayer money by taking hotel stays are twice the government rate in some cases, according to the Star-Ledger. Former governor Jon Corzine’s spokesman commented that Christie can’t talk about cutting spending if he is wasting government money. Christie has had no further comment on the issue.
