The New Jersey Assembly followed the state Senate and approved a bill that would take down obstacles that prevent sports betting in the Garden State. The bill was approved by a 73-4 vote in the Assembly on Thursday and now sits on the desk of Governor Chris Christie. Supporters say this will clear the way for sports betting in Atlantic City and provide a boost of revenue for the casinos. Four republican assemblymen voted against the bill.
