New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has won again against Assembly Democrats. The New Jersey Assembly again failed to override a gubernatorial veto of a bill Christie himself rejected earlier in the year. This time the bill would have required the state to issue new annual reports on debt obligations. The democratic-controlled Assembly needed 54 votes for an override; it received only 45.
